GUI Developer   Location: Holmdel, NJ

We are looking for experienced GUI developers who are comfortable working in a team tackling complex manageability issues for our indexing appliance.

Your experience should include a strong background in the design, development, and testing of complex software systems in C/C++, PHP, and Perl.  Good knowledge of client-side code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML) is required.  Familiarity with both the Windows and Linux development environment is a plus.

Software Tester  Location: Holmdel, NJ

We are looking for a hands-on QA professional to join our team.

The appropriate person should have basic administrative skills on Windows 2003/2000 and Linux. Familiarity with Exchange 2003/2000, server hardware, and networking is a plus. You should have an understanding of the system test life cycle and QA methodologies such as acceptance, regression, compatibility testing, defect tracking, test case writing, and timely execution of test tasks.

You should be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Software Engineer   Location: Holmdel, NJ

We are looking for experienced software engineers comfortable working at the system software or kernel level.

Your experienced should include a strong background in the design, development, and testing of complex software systems in C, and an in depth understanding of the Linux Operating System. Previous experience in one of real-time software development device driver development, operating system development, database development, compiler development, security systems or storage networking protocols is also a requirement.

Your strong communication skills, and your ability to work with and to mentor others will be a plus.

Account Executive

Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Generates revenue and profit margin for Index Engines in assigned accounts and territories.
  • Teams with channel partners to ensure the successful marketing and deployment of Index Engines solutions.
  • Prospecting & Planning: Identifies high potential sales opportunities and prioritizes them. Builds rapport and educates customer with the use of internal and external resources.
  • Qualifying & Analysis: Leads and develops account strategy using customer's growth plans, budget, and project timelines.
  • Proposing & Closing: Submits and presents the customer with a finalized collaborative proposal with solutions, justifications, and expected results to overcome objections and win the business with maximum revenue/margin.
  • Validating Value: Engages sales management to validate the business impact with CXO level decision makers.
  • Business Case/Justification: Articulates Index Engines value and provides an overview of Index Engines products and services.
  • Implementation: Oversees the implementation of the proposed solution.
  • Insures high post sales satisfaction that enables repeat business with customers.

Experience and Education:

  • 4 year degree BA or BA and 5-10 years experience required in a direct sales role.
  • Preferred job experience includes selling high end data storage solutions, tape storage systems, enterprise search software and e-discovery solutions and related technologies.
  • Experience with selling enterprise search and e-discovery solutions is a plus.
  • 3+ years of achievement and consistently ranked in the top 20% of your sales organization.
  • Proven consultative selling skills with the ability to manage multiple sales campaigns and complex sales campaigns.
  • The ability to present highly complex technical and business concepts to all levels of an organization.
  • A Proven track record of 5+ years of progressive accomplishments within your field of work .

Senior Systems Engineer      Region:  West

Provide support to the Index Engines sales team in pursuit of product sales opportunities with customers and select business partners. Gain prospects technical recommendation to develop a business relationship with Index Engines.

Expected to help drive enterprise business:  Must perform a variety of tasks including product overviews, customized technical presentations and demonstrations, complex solution design, environmental and data center surveys, proposal development, advanced product evaluations and product feature/benefit discussions.

Presentations:  Present Index Engines product features and benefits to Managers and Director Level prospects as well as Systems Managers and Administrators. Provide technical information about the Index Engines product line and describe customized solutions to address complex customer requirements, utilizing Index Engines, partner products and professional services.

Demonstrations & Evaluation: Demonstrate Index Engines product set to address complex customer issues involving enterprise indexing of online and offline media. Assist customers with installation and deployment of Index Engines products in multi-application, multi-storage platform environments following the Index Engines evaluation process.

Solution Development: Conduct requirements analysis for enterprise indexing solutions. Develop advanced solutions customized to unique customer needs combining Index Engines and third-party products with integration and professional services. Understand mission critical needs of customers across the enterprise

Technical Expertise: General storage industry or search industry and product knowledge. Must maintain current knowledge of Index Engines product set and related technologies in the eco-system, and describe key features and benefits of each. Must be recognized and utilized as a technical resource within the region.

Sales Support: Expand opportunities by positioning Index Engines value proposition to meet customer’s business requirements and service level objectives.

Specialized knowledge/skills: Proficiency with LINUX or UNIX. Strong understanding of tape drives, libraries, storage arrays, storage networking, networking protocols, and general connectivity in multi-platform enterprise environments.

Strong verbal and written communications skills as well as effective human relations skills, a pro-active approach to the sales process and professional presentation skills are required. Bachelor's degree in business or engineering discipline or equivalent training and industry experience. 5-7 years of open systems administration and management, technical sales or consulting experience.

Inside Sales Representative      Location: Holmdel, NJ

Job Summary:

Perform outbound and inbound telemarketing for the purpose of qualifying corporate generated leads and generating new leads in order to maximize the sales of Index Engines products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • High volume outbound calling to generate, qualify and develop high quality leads for specific geographic territories.
  • Achieve agreed targets for lead development generation.
  • Work with Marketing to develop lead generation campaigns for assigned territories on a regular, ongoing basis.
  • Qualify and develop prospects.
  • Proactive calling of between 50 – 100 calls per day.
  • Handle both incoming and outgoing prospect calls.
  • Be the first point of contact inside Index Engines for those responding to offers on our website, calling the general number and emails to the “sales” alias.
  • Proactively follow up with all events (Webinars, Field Seminars, Trade Shows) invitations, registrants, attendees and prospects.
  • Maintain pertinent information in SF.COM - lead management & corporate database.
  • Field prospect calls for direct sales personnel.
  • Assign leads to the proper sales channel at the appropriate time in the sales cycle.
  • Report on a daily, weekly, monthly basis results of telephone calling activities as determined by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum 18 months of telemarketing, telesales, or other marketing support experience in a software or high technology company. Strong customer service skills. Strong prospecting skills. Strong customer service skills. Consultative approach. Experience in an enterprise software company a major plus. Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Salesforce.com. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Clear Reporting demononstrable skills. High Achiever.
