Index Engines Named One Of Top 10 Data Management Companies To Watch By Network World Magazine

HOLMDEL, NJ – October 4, 2006 - Index Engines, the leader in next-generation enterprise-wide indexing solutions, today announced that it has been chosen as one of Network World magazine’s Top 10 Data Management Companies to Watch. For more than a decade, Network World has produced Top 10 lists of companies to watch; these lists have included such companies as EMC, Veritas, IBM and CA. This year’s Top 10 Data Management Companies to Watch list appears in the magazine’s October 2nd, 2006 issue in advance of the Network Applications Consortium, held October 10-12 in Bloomington, IL where Index Engines will present on its enterprise indexing technology.

After analyzing a large number of companies in a variety of technology categories this year, Network World editors selected the Top 10 based on the strength of each company’s technology and their industry segment. According to the magazine, “companies named are helping organizations get a handle on the unstructured data – files, PDFs and spreadsheets – on network file servers and network-attached storage (NAS) devices.”
