HOLMDEL, NJ — October 3, 2012 — Index Engines, a leader in enterprise information management and archiving solutions, today announces version 4.5 of their Octane platform. This important new version adds support for the review and analysis of electronically stored information (ESI) through integration with Relativity. Also included in this new release is support for indexing of scanned documents using OCR processing, as well as high speed processing of Encase“ and AccessData“ forensic images. This new release extends the Octane platform with support for new data types and broadens Index Engines commitment to the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
Index Engines’ Octane platform provides a unified and intelligent workflow when processing ESI in support of eDiscovery and compliance. With this new release ESI culled within the Octane platform can be easily delivered to Relativity for review and analysis. This new integration ensures reliability and accuracy when working with sensitive data. Additional workflow enhancements include automated indexing of scanned PDFs and images using powerful OCR technology, as well as high speed processing of forensic images. Forensic images from AccessData (.AD1) and EnCase (.E01/.L01) will be supported without the need to mount the images in advance. This approach delivers high speed, comprehensive processing of evidence files.
